CHICAGO - The Mitchell Group, a leading textile source and converter company, will open a new warehouse in Pontotoc, MS. The move is scheduled for May 8.

Located at 204 Brookwood Road in Pontotoc, MS 38863, Mitchell will occupy some 100,000 sq. ft. of premium warehouse space with adjacent offices that will house the company's customer service department. The additional space and upgraded technology will allow Mitchell to provide a higher level of service and more efficient deliveries.

The Pontotoc warehouse is more than triple the size of its formerly leased space in New Albany, MS, which will vastly improve and facilitate shipping and receiving operations.

In fact, Mitchell anticipates adding jobs with several employees already hired for the new location.

"Mitchell has deep roots in the Magnolia state. I learned the upholstery business here more than 30 years ago, and I am thrilled to be established as a Mississippi company, employing Mississippi residents," said Bill Fisch, president of The Mitchell Group. "It's an exciting time to be in Pontotoc with all the great things going on in the industry."
