The Mitchell Collection polyurethane (PU) upholstery provides the most realistic imitation of genuine leather, with respect to hand, surface feel, and overall appearance. When stitched, gathered, or tufted it actually “breaks” or wrinkles like real leather. Our Commercial PU upholstery will remain soft and supple for the duration of time it remains on the furniture.

Mitchell Collection PU upholstery exceeds the minimum requirements established by the Association of Contract Textiles (ACT) and the Coated Fabric and Film Association (CFFA) for commercial grade upholstery. This would include tensile strength, tear strength, seam strength, adhesion, stretch, flex resistance, blocking, UV stability, and crock resistance.
