Sta-Kleen PC – The Next Generation of Faux Leather

Performance

Sta-Kleen PC is a polyurethane-coated upholstery fabric made from a 100% polycarbonate resin system. Polycarbonate resins provide an incredibly strong and durable product. Sta-Kleen PC is engineered to perform in the most demanding commercial environments. To do so requires that it has performance values that are greater than the current standards set by ACT for regular commercial applications. Stain and Chemical Resistance
Sta-Kleen PC’s stain resistance is achieved through chemical cross-linking – it is not a topical treatment. Dry stains such as ballpoint pens are wiped away with a cloth. Wet stains, including ketchup, lotion, and juices, are cleaned using a sponge, mild soap, and water. Sta-Kleen PC is also resistant to the transfer of most blue jean dyes.

The combination of the polycarbonate resins and Sta-Kleen stain resistance means Sta-Kleen PC can withstand the harsh chemical disinfectants used in commercial environments such as hospitals, nursing homes, and schools. Environment

Sta-Kleen PC contains no lead or heavy metals. It is phthalate and formaldehyde-free. It does not contain anti-microbial additives, chemical flame retardants, persistent organic pollutants, or toxic by-products. Sta-Kleen PC is REACH and RoHS compliant and is eligible for LEED credits for Healthcare MR Credit 5 and LEED v4 for Commercial Interiors.
