NuLeather™ is a high performance faux leather with a luxuriously soft hand – nothing comes closer to real leather, and yet delivers the strength and durability required for the most demanding environments. NuLeather is engineered with the highest quality polycarbonate resins, the best available in the market today. NuLeather’s superior formulation provides for 15 weeks hydrolysis resistance, 650 hours lightfastness, and 500,000 cycles abrasion resistance. Its rayon-polyester backing provides unsurpassed tensile and tear strength. NuLeather is antibacterial, mildew resistant and has exceptional stain resistance and cleanability.
One of the greatest benefits of NuLeather is that it is environmentally responsible. The fabric does not contain polyvinyl chloride (PVC), plasticizers, phthalates, heavy metals or stabilizers. There are no chemical flame retardants. Nearly 99% of the chemicals used to make the fabric are recycled by the mill. There are no toxic by-products. NuLeather is RoHS and REACH compliant, and is eligible for LEED credits for Healthcare MR Credit 5 and LEED v4 for Commercial Interiors.
